Hi, I’m Ringvida
a photographer with a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature and the connections between humans and the world around us. I was born and raised in Lithuania, the last pagan country in Europe, and its rich cultural heritage has shaped my perspective on life and photography.
Growing up in Lithuania, I was surrounded by the country's unique blend of nature, mythology, and ancient traditions. I was fascinated by the ways in which people interacted with nature and the world around them, and this curiosity led me to develop a passion for photography.
After my upbringing in Lithuania, I embarked on an enriching journey in the UK, where I spent over five years honing my photography skills and exploring the world of film photography. This period of my life allowed me to immerse myself in the artistry of capturing moments on film, as well as travel extensively throughout Europe.
From the picturesque landscapes of the Scottish Highlands to the vibrant streets of Lisbon, I found endless inspiration in the diverse cultures and stunning landscapes that Europe had to offer. These experiences deepened my understanding of photography as a means of storytelling and further ignited my passion for capturing the essence of life through the lens.
In 2016, I moved to Melbourne, Australia, where I've continued to pursue my photography career. The new environment has only further fuelled my passion for capturing the beauty of the world and the people in it.
My photography style focuses on candid, natural, and effortless imagery, emphasising the beauty of the moment rather than posed shots. I specialise in portrait, event, wedding, and commercial photography, but my true passion lies in editorial photography that captures the essence of a story.
I strive to incorporate the reverence for nature and the human connection that is at the heart of my Lithuanian heritage into my work. I believe that capturing the beauty of the world is an art form that requires both technical skill and a deep appreciation for the natural world. Let me help you capture your story in a way that reflects the beauty and magic of the world around us.
